I was recently asked if having a dream, then experiencing it's truths upon waking, made way for destiny or fate; particularly in love. My response was such:
"There are no such things as dreams. It's all always a reality. Alternate realities. Another dimension, maybe. Therefore, in your case, something just happened twice. First your "dream", as it were, and second your waking life. Sorry to put a scientific damper on your fantasy, my friend, but my recent immunity to emotion has soured me, or hardened me, quite a bit.
Perhaps I don't believe in love. I believe in energy, as it's the flow of our make-ups. I believe in the positive and negative energies working together around us to form greater energies, for our likings, even. I also have felt the energetic bubble performing his tricks between two identical magnets. I've trusted in hands-on healing, and I know the secret of NiMH. BUT, if love is real, as light in vision, and could then be projected onto another human..well, then my friend, my life would be incredibly different today. Not to discourage you from your alternate reality, which I believe is exisiting beyond time and bound by nothing, but I've learned otherwise through my experiences. You see, your energy made that "dream" come true. You wanted it. Mind over matter. I've been brought to acceptance, sure. A warm blanket placed gingerly over Mother Earth is the warmth I feel from what-have-you. Love, though, is an art. It can only exist if it exists in everything, and that (unfortunately) is not the case. Who am I to be presenting such an argument anyway? The other night, I couldn't remember if dragons are real or not. I asked my friend who said, "It depends on what you consider real." So, since our human conscious is incredibly aware of the Dragon, and can picture it, draw it, and even fear it. If you've ever held a toy dragon in your hands, then a dragon is real. If this response is dragging on, then drag on is real. These tangible things are more than I can say for love. So, for your sake.. keep dreaming."
